Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to direct, act production, create plays, teach, and be Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to the British father and British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth. Anna relocated to Toronto for her acting to improve. Later, the actress relocated Los Angeles. She was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting training in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in the year 2009. They married in a civil ceremony that ended in December. They they renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April of 2011 following Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured in CNN's top television couple list. They also were named in the 2013 edition of E! as the top television couple of 2013.
